All dwellings that received planning permission after the 1st January 2007 must be provided with a Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate. Energy Solutions has been advising builders and homeowners on the energy performance of dwellings since 2004 and we have a wealth of experience and expertise at your disposal.We were also one of the first Qualified and Certified BER Assessors in Ireland.  We offer a professional service and will stand over our Energy Ratings.If you are building a house, or are a developer building houses or apartments, we can provide you with a cost effective Energy Rating service.

BER Optimisation
As energy costs rise and awareness of global warming increases a good Energy Rating can be an additional value added selling point for your property. Achieving an A rating need not add significantly to construction costs  and Energy Solutions has assisted individuals and developers in achieving an A rating for their building. 

We can advise on the least cost means of  improving the Building Energy Rating through insulation, efficient heating systems and controls and renewable and alternative energy sources. We can also assist developers in availing of grant aid under SEI's House of Tomorrow Programme.

FAQ's

Will I be penalised for a bad rating?
Not directly. However, a BER will help home buyers choose between competing properties. All else being equal, a property with a good rating should sell for more than one with a bad energy rating. As part of our service we will advise you on how to improve your property's BER.
